History Short: Signers of the Declaration of Independence

Dear PATRIOTS 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 . . .

Our Declaration of Independence was signed by 56 brave Patriots. They put their lives on the line when they signed it. All for the cause of Liberty and Freedom and for the future of the county they loved.

The last sentence of our Declaration of Independence is powerful...

"We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our Sacred Honor. "

They were determined, no matter the cost. Many lost their homes, their property and their wealth. Many of their homes were burned to the ground by the British. Many of their wives were severely mistreated.

They knew their signatures could cost them everything, but they willingly signed anyway. Several would not live to witness the Independence of their new country. That's worth remembering, America. Be proud of our Heritage and of these great Patriots.
