History Short: Liberty Bell inscription

These words are written on the Liberty Bell:

“Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all inhabitants thereof.”

This comes directly from Leviticus 25:10. It’s a Bible verse that refers to the Year of Jubilee, a time in ancient Jewish tradition when property was returned and slaves were freed.

Everything our Founders did as they built this new Nation, shows their knowledge and respect for Divine Wisdom. The connection between the Bible, Liberty and our Founding documents is no coincidence. We are definitely a nation founded on deeply Spiritual principles. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 💗
