Have you heard of David Barton? If not, you might want to look him up.
He's a political activist, scholar, and an expert in 'Founding Fathers' history. He's also one of the founders of WallBuilders, an organization that helps people learn about the story of America and its Biblical foundation.
This short video (click the link or the image above), provides the briefest of introductions to David, as he discusses some of the historical items on display at his location in Aledo, Texas.
If you jump in you'll find other links to many other other resources and videos. Make sure to set aside a little time, as there's plenty to discover!
As you explore, you may stumble upon David's Wikipedia entry. Reading it will give you some clear perspective on the nefarious forces at work in the world today. Here's an excerpt with some highlights added for emphasis:
[David Barton] is the founder of WallBuilders, LLC, a Texas-based organization that promotes pseudohistory about the religious basis of the United States. Barton's work is devoted to advancing the discredited idea that the United States was founded as an explicitly Christian nation and rejecting the notion that the United States Constitution calls for separation of church and state. Scholars of history and law have described his research as highly flawed, "pseudoscholarship" and spreading "outright falsehoods."
Does this read like a neutral, unbiased 'encyclopedia' entry? We invite you to explore, research and decide for yourself. Who gets your vote of confidence: David Barton or Wikipedia?
And speaking of Wikipedia . . .
Tucker Carlson recently interviewed Larry Sanger, who is one of Wikipedia's co-founders.
Sanger describes how Wikipedia - which was originally meant to be an unbiased repository of the world’s knowledge - was captured by activists and intelligence agencies, who have converted it into what may be the most comprehensive propaganda operation in human history.
It's enlightening and frightening at the same time. And it perhaps explains how and why the highlighted text above came to be.
